Tabitha Gatwiri Early Life and Education
Gatwiri was born and raised in Isiolo County, the eldest of five siblings, including three girls and two boys.
She began her education at Kithoka Primary School in Meru County. After her KCPE exams, she transferred to Bishop Lawi Imathiu Secondary School.
The late actress later enrolled at Kenyatta University.
In a previous interview, Gatwiri revealed that she was passionate about the film industry but her father disapproved of the choice as he was concerned about the risk of unemployment in the industry. He wanted her to go into teaching as he believed it would offer better career prospects.
During her school days, she discovered her passion for entertainment. Her journey began when she realised that her Meru accent made her friends laugh. She later joined the Kenyatta University Mobile Theatre and took part in many of their shows.
